Creator Guidelines
These guidelines apply to all artists publishing on bluescreen. Violations may result in delisting of your NFTs or suspension of your wallet.
Allowed
Original Works Only
You may only mint artworks for which you hold full copyright. This applies to digital illustrations, photography, paintings, 3D models, animations, generative art and all other creative works. By minting, you confirm that you are the sole rights holder.
Not allowed
No Plagiarism / Stolen Art
Minting artworks created by others without their explicit written permission is strictly prohibited. This includes copying works from other NFT artists, unauthorized use of fan art, or plagiarising well-known artworks. Violations result in immediate delisting and permanent wallet ban.

No Copyright Infringement
NFTs containing logos, characters, trademarks or other copyrighted elements without a valid licence (e.g. Disney, Nike, film characters, sports teams) are not permitted.
Case-by-case
Explicit / NSFW Content
Explicitly sexual or heavily violent content is not permitted on bluescreen. Artistic nudity with a clear artistic context may be accepted on a case-by-case basis, subject to our review.

Illegal Content
Content depicting or promoting hate speech, discrimination, child abuse, terrorism or any other illegal activity is absolutely forbidden and will be reported to the relevant authorities immediately.

Wash Trading & Price Manipulation
Artificially inflating prices through self-dealing (wash trading) or coordinated schemes is prohibited and may result in permanent wallet suspension.

Accurate Metadata
The name, description and category of your NFTs must be honest and accurate. Misleading titles (e.g. impersonating a well-known collection) are not permitted.

Correct Edition Types
If you create a "1/1" edition, that work must exist only once. Limited editions must state the correct maximum supply. Misrepresentation constitutes fraud.
Case-by-case
AI-Generated Art
AI-generated artworks are permitted on bluescreen but must be clearly categorised as "AI Art". Presenting AI-generated works as handmade is not allowed.

Royalty Transparency
You may set creator royalties between 0% and 15% on secondary sales. These are encoded on-chain via Metaplex Core and cannot be increased after minting — they are permanently locked in the NFT's on-chain metadata.
Profile badges
Badges appear next to an artist's name across bluescreen. A profile can hold all three at the same time.

Fee structure
bluescreen is transparent about all fees. Here is the complete breakdown of what you pay as a creator:

Important notes
- The $0.40 bluescreen minting fee and Arweave storage cost are paid together in a single on-chain transaction.
- Arweave costs are calculated live based on your image file size at the time of upload.
- The Metaplex Core fee (~0.005 SOL) is a Solana rent deposit — you receive it back if you ever burn the NFT.
- Creator royalties (0–15%) are set by you at mint time and permanently locked on-chain. They cannot be changed afterwards.
- bluescreen never takes a cut of your creator royalties.

If you believe your copyright has been infringed, please contact us. We will review and delist the affected NFT from our frontend. Since data is permanently stored on Arweave and the Solana blockchain, complete deletion is technically not possible.
